Commitment to Child Safety

Giving Connect is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child and young person who comes into contact with our work, whether that contact is direct or indirect. As an impact measurement partner, our contact with children is principally through measurement and evaluation activities conducted on our behalf by delivery organisations, and through the stories, images, and data shared with us for analysis and reporting purposes.

Giving Connect has zero tolerance for child abuse. Everyone engaged by Giving Connect — directors, employees, contractors, consultants, interns, and volunteers — shares responsibility for the safety of children connected to our work, and for reporting any concern about actual or suspected harm to a child.

All our people fully support our Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy, which sets out our principles, our expectations of the delivery partners we work with, and our procedure for raising and responding to a safeguarding concern.
